WordSprinter Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

The short version: WordSprinter doesn't collect any information about you. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't see it, store it, sell it, or share it.

This policy explains how the WordSprinter app (“WordSprinter” or “the app”), made by Tandem Works, LLC (“we” or “us”), handles your information.

Information we collect

None. WordSprinter has no accounts or sign-in, and it doesn't send any data to us or anyone else. The app doesn't use the internet at all.

Information stored on your device

To do its job, WordSprinter saves what you enter on your device:

This information is stored only on your device, and we can't see it. WordSprinter only stores the numbers you enter, never the text of your writing.

Device backups

If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, Apple may include WordSprinter's data in that backup, like data from most apps. Those backups are controlled by your device settings and covered by Apple's privacy policy, not by us. We have no access to them.

Exporting your data

You can export a goal's sessions as a spreadsheet file (CSV). The file is created only when you ask for it, and it goes wherever you choose to send it with the share sheet, such as Files, Mail, or Messages. Once you share it, the privacy practices of the app or service you shared it with apply.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

WordSprinter has no analytics, ads, or third-party tracking tools, and it doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us general crash and usage reports that don't identify you. You control this in Settings under Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Deleting your data

Your data is stored on your device, so you're in control of it. Deleting WordSprinter from your device permanently deletes all of its data. If you have device backups that include the app, they may keep a copy until those backups are deleted or replaced.

Children's privacy

WordSprinter doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how WordSprinter handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change means the app starts collecting any information, we'll explain it here before that version of the app is released.
